Overview

Kerala Hills & Backwaters – 4 Nights / 5 Days
Munnar • Thekkady • Alleppey/ Kumarakom

Journey through God's Own Country on this classic short break, weaving together misty tea plantations, dense spice forests, and tranquil backwaters. Begin in Munnar, where rolling hills carpeted in emerald tea gardens meet cool mountain air — visit tea museums, viewpoints, and (season permitting) the rare Neelakurinji blooms. Continue to Thekkady, home to the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, for a boat cruise in search of wild elephants and a fragrant walk through spice plantations. The journey concludes in Alleppey, the "Venice of the East," with an overnight or day cruise aboard a traditional houseboat drifting through palm-fringed canals and paddy fields. A well-paced introduction to Kerala's hills, wildlife, and waterways, ideal for first-time visitors and honeymooners alike.
